Nutrition from Water (NXW) Advances Japan Market Launch with Strategic JDA Partner Nissei Kyoeki
Nutrition from Water (NXW), the New Zealand-born and now Portugal-headquartered nutrition company pioneering affordable nutrition solutions from water, has deepened its partnership and joint development plans for Japan with leading Japanese protein distributor, Nissei Kyoeki Co Ltd.

The two companies have entered the second phase of their Joint Development Agreement (JDA) programme. Under this phase, Nissei Kyoeki has begun testing Marine Whey™ with leading nutrition customers and has made a financial commitment to co-invest in the development of the product and to purchase and distribute 2,000 tonnes of the ingredient, supporting NXW’s market launch in Japan.
As a leading importer and distributor of high-quality, safe nutrition products, Nissei Kyoeki brings decades of experience trading and distributing premium New Zealand dairy proteins, including Fonterra products. This expertise positions the company perfectly to drive the growth of Marine Whey™ in Japan.
