NXW Nutrition from Water has been selected for Unreasonable Food™ 2026, a collaboration between Unreasonable and Mars that provides mentorship, community and resources designed to support ventures as they grow. NXW Nutrition from Water is one of thirteen ventures selected from six countries, and the only one in the cohort's Protein Enhancement and Fortification category.

The 2026 cohort came together in Windham, New York, from 12 to 18 September for a week of mentoring sessions, workshops and time with fellow founders. For NXW Nutrition from Water, which produces complete protein from pristine waters to help make nutritious food more affordable, it was a week spent learning from people working on every part of the food system: "We are grateful to Unreasonable and Mars for the mentorship, community and resources behind this programme," said Federico Duarte, CEO of NXW Nutrition from Water. "A week alongside founders tackling such different challenges gave us fresh perspective on our own work, and a network we will keep learning from as we grow."

Now in its third year, the programme supports entrepreneurs developing solutions across the food system, with a 2026 focus on gut health, nutrition and ingredient innovation, protein, data and wellness platforms, food safety, and circularity. The 2026 cohort joins the 2024 and 2025 cohorts in an ongoing network of mentors, investors and Mars teams.
